MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Hey, I'm Josie!

An Employed Salon owner for over 10 years who took the leap and switched to a freelance rent a chair model.

If you are like I was...You're probably feeling...

— Like your salon looks successful from the outside, but every month you're watching the profit disappear before it ever hits your account.

— Like you've spoken to your accountant, scrolled through endless Facebook groups, and compared notes with other salon owners — but all its done is scare you - no one has actually shown you a clear alternative.

— Like you built this business for freedom, and instead you're the most trapped person in it.

Your fully booked but the profit isn't adding up?

The cost of employment, PAYE & pensions is getting too much

Your feeling like this is just how it is, if you run a salon...well it doesn't HAVE to be.

Does this sound familiar?

I remember sitting in my salon on a Tuesday evening — fully booked, team of six, VAT paid, wages covered, diary full — and feeling completely hollow. The place was busy. On paper, it looked like it was working. But every month I'd watch the money come in and then quietly disappear before I could do anything with it.

I'd worked out that wages and PAYE costs alone had gone up by £2,000 a month in a single year. And every time a government email landed in my inbox about another pay increase, my stomach would drop. I was staying up late writing Instagram captions, stressing about white gaps in the diary, and wondering what on earth I was actually doing this for.

The turning point came when I stopped trying to fix the employed model and started asking whether I needed it at all.

I looked at the numbers properly — what the employed setup was actually costing me versus what a rental model could bring in — and for the first time in years, things started to make sense.

I transitioned my own salon - Not perfectly, not without a few bumps (one team member left the week before we switched — that was a fun Tuesday). But it worked. The bills are still paid. The salon is still open. And I am taking a higher wage than I did before.  And I'm no longer chained to filling every appointment just to cover someone else's wages.

Because when I was trying to figure this out, there was nobody talking openly about it. No roadmap, no numbers breakdown, no honest conversation about what it actually involves. I had to piece it together myself — and I figured that if other salon owners were sliding into my DMs asking the same questions I once had, they deserved a proper answer.

That's exactly why I built the Salon Transition Blueprint.

Imagine this...

What’s possible for you…

Picture this:

It’s Monday morning.
You haven’t even opened the salon yet…

And £600 lands in your account.

Not from scrambling to fill appointments.
Not from chasing staff to be busy.

👉 From chair rental.

No payroll panic.
No diary anxiety.
No dread when the next budget announcement hits.

Instead....

Predictable Monthly Income

A team that manages themselves - no stress.

Time to focus on your passions & actually be keeping your own income!

I am proof that this DOES work...

This isn’t theory.

I transitioned my own salon from:

👉 Fully employed team of six
→ To a self-employed rental model

Not without a few teething problems but it taught me a lot.

The salon is still thriving

Overheads are significantly lower

Stress is lower than it’s been in years

And the weekly DMs I get?

“How did you do it?”
“Did you have to pay redundancy?”
“How did you price your chairs?”

This course is the answer to all of that.
