THE SALON TRANSITION BLUEPRINT - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these terms carefully. By ticking the boxes at checkout and completing your purchase, you agree to them.

1. WHO WE ARE

The Salon Transition Blueprint is created and sold by Josie Lee, trading as Josie Lee Hair, of 10a Eastcliffe Road, Cornwall PL24 2AH. You can contact us at [email protected]. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Josie Lee, trading as Josie Lee Hair, and “you” means the person buying.

2. WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

The Blueprint is a digital guide for salon owners moving from an employed team to a self-employed model. It includes four modules, worksheets, checklists and template documents (together, the “Blueprint”). The options available are:

Standard: the Blueprint.

VIP: the Blueprint, access to our private ‘Salon Transition Blueprint’ WhatsApp group, and one free 45-minute 1-1 coaching call.

Late opt-in: if you did not buy VIP, you can add lifetime access to the Blueprint and access to the WhatsApp group for £50. The late opt-in does not include a coaching call, which is exclusive to VIP purchases made at the time of your original purchase.

3. PRICE AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown at checkout in pounds sterling. Payment is taken in full when you buy.

4. DELIVERY AND ACCESS

The Blueprint is a digital product. Once you have paid, you will receive an email with your access details shortly afterwards. Please check your junk folder if you do not see it. “Lifetime access” means access for as long as we make the Blueprint available. If we ever withdraw it, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to keep a copy.

5. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL AND REFUNDS

If you are buying as a consumer, you would normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because the Blueprint is digital content that you can access straight away, you agree that we will start providing it immediately, and that you lose your right to cancel once you have been given access. You confirm this by ticking the box at checkout.

Because of the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds once access has been given, except where the law requires it (for example, if the product is faulty or not as described). If something is wrong, contact us at [email protected] and we will put it right. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

6. NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

The Blueprint shares the author’s personal experience and general information only. It is not legal, tax, financial, accounting, insurance or HR advice, and does not create a professional relationship between us.

Employment status, redundancy, tax, VAT, National Insurance, pensions and insurance all depend on your own circumstances, and the rules change. You must take advice from suitably qualified professionals, such as an employment solicitor and an accountant, before making any changes to your business or your team. Figures, rates and thresholds in the Blueprint were correct at the time of writing and may change.

7. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

Examples, including the author’s own, are for illustration. Your results depend on your salon, team, location, finances and the choices you make. We do not guarantee any particular income, saving or profit, or that HMRC or any other body will agree that a particular set-up is compliant.

8. TEMPLATES AND DOCUMENTS

Draft contracts, letters and other templates are starting points only. They are not tailored to you and are not guaranteed to be legally suitable. Have them checked by a suitably qualified professional before you use them.

9. COPYRIGHT AND LICENCE

The Blueprint and everything in it belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own salon business, and to adapt the templates for that use. You may give printed or shared handouts (such as the stylist checklist) to your own team.

You must not copy, share, resell, republish or upload the Blueprint or any part of it, share your access with others, or use it to create a competing product.

10. THE WHATSAPP GROUP (VIP AND LATE OPT-IN)

Membership is personal to you. Please be respectful, keep other members’ messages and situations private, and do not promote your own services without permission. Answers given in the group are general guidance and not professional advice. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules, without refund. WhatsApp is a third-party service with its own terms, and we are not responsible for its availability. Your access to the group lasts for 6 months from your purchase date (for the late opt-in, from the date of that purchase).

11. THE COACHING CALL (VIP ONLY)

Your VIP purchase includes one 45-minute 1-1 coaching call, booked using the link in your emails. Please book within one month of your purchase date. To reschedule, give at least one week’s notice; a missed call without notice may be treated as used. The call is personal to you, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and is general guidance rather than professional advice.

12. OUR LIABILITY

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of profit, business or income, or for losses caused by relying on the Blueprint instead of taking professional advice. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the Blueprint.

13. YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We use your details to take payment, provide the Blueprint and support you. Please see our Privacy Policy, which is linked at checkout. We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to receive it.

14. CHANGES

We may update the Blueprint from time to time. We may also update these terms, and the version in force when you buy applies to your purchase.

15. GENERAL

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
